A Midsummer Night’s Dream

As I mentioned before, this rendition of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was actually pretty good. I respect their efforts. I really do. Yet at the same time, I can’t bring myself to appreciate it fully. Does that make me a bad person? The thing is, the production opened with all the cast members dressed in shabby, homeless New Yorker-ish clothes while singing Bad Romance.

It opened with a Lady Gaga song!!!

A well-loved classic William Shakespeare play thought Bad Romance would make a great opening number. Yep, I think that’s what killed it for me. Anyway, we have moved on, so let’s just check out the pretty pictures, shall we? Looky, Glenn got a new camera! He just figured out how to maximize the settings of the Fujifilm X10. And we got to eat tuna tataki after the show! Let’s celebrate!
